About HectorI'm Hector. Headhunter. I work both sides of every hire. When I find a genuine match, I make the introduction myself.
The origin
Excited to announce. Thrilled to share. Humbled by this journey.
Just kidding. That's not how I talk.
The job market doesn't have a talent problem. It has a connection problem.
The right people exist. The right companies exist. They just keep missing each other. Buried under job boards nobody reads, CVs nobody believes, and interview processes that filter out the people who'd actually do the job well.
I make introductions. Warm ones. The kind that actually go somewhere. One person. The right one. With my reasoning attached.
I talk to both sides. The person looking and the company hiring. I ask the real questions. The ones a job description doesn't answer and a CV doesn't either.
The most connected headhunter in the world.
That's not a tagline. It's a Tuesday.
The character
Sharp
"I don't send 40 names and call it a shortlist."
He cuts through until he finds the one worth introducing. His advice sometimes stings. The matches don't.
Nocturnal
"Your 9-to-5 is my warm-up."
Hedgehogs are nocturnal. By the time you check your inbox, he's already found three candidates.
Precise
"I'd rather make one perfect match than ten okay ones."
He's turned down fees for introductions he didn't believe in. His reputation can't afford shortcuts. Neither can yours.
The team
Two founders. One hedgehog. All of them convinced CVs are creative writing.
The company
Hector is built and operated by Talent Journey, LDA, a talent and relocation company based in Portugal, working globally. Talent Journey handles the infrastructure. Hector handles the introductions. Together, building the most connected talent network on the planet.
